01/02 Kalasan: SIC MIPA UGM Information System
SIC (Student Internet Center) is a part of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (MIPA) Faculty in Gadjah Mada University (UGM). It provides internet facilities to the students.
This information system is used to deliver the basic information to user’s desktop when they start using the PC. It gives information about user account, some news fetched from news portal feeds, whether forecast fetched from Yahoo!Whether service, event happened on the past in current date, and other service tariff.
Blue was chosen as the main color because it is the color image of the SIC MIPA service.
Kalasan was taken from name of “candi” located in Yogyakarta.
Hand coded from scratch, this web-based information system was delivered on February 2008.
